Racing 4 Nickels is looking for a few additional drivers, the car is a '89 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that we plan on entering in the Rod Blagojevich Never-Say-Die 500
The cost of the seat is $700 plus a $200 deposit that is refundable after the race. this includes entry fee, race gas, car transportation to/from the event, a new set of good tires, new brake pads & rotors, etc. The $200 is a fully refundable damage deposit which will be returned after the race provided you didn't crash the car into someone else, roll it over, blow the engine, plow into a large non moving object or got the team kicked out of the race by doing other things like this during your first stint. Basically everything car related but personal equipment and license fees. Money is due 1 week after race acceptance.

New reason for Baksheesh
Being from Chicago we all know bribing Judges is pretty much just tradition, but if we do it well enough we can now get some free shirts. (As modeled by the lovely Arc-Angel)

Ok now we have a real problem
Today I noticed a particularly menacingly looking wasp flying around the Cutlass Ciera. Sure it could have been just admiring the classic lines of the car, but I saw it climb behind the passenger side mirror.Sure enough when I looked in there it appears that some of these have decided to make the passenger mirror home, and build a nest in there.
So I guess no more working on the car till I buy some raid.
