Good news--I think. Your team has officially been ACCEPTED for LeMons Chicago (aka the Rod Blagojevich Never-Say-Die 500, at Autobahn Country Club on 23-24 October 2010). Please read this email completely, then forward it to the rest of your team, one of whom is certainly smarter than you are. (You agreed to be captain, so clearly you're not the genius.)

It has been a while
Just thought I'd check in, and let you know we are still around, vacations and other summer activities have keep us away from working on the car the last few weeks.
We should know by early next week if we have been accepted to the October Race, and we should be back with more updates then.

Work Postponed for the day
The work for today has been postponed due to our own stupidity. I will watch Sesame Street and the Electric Company for the next week so that hopefully I can learn the difference between the number 1 and the number 2.

Dash Modifications
So I had some time today to do some work on the car and we needed to remove some of the dash so that the roll cage when installed can better follow the A pillars. Here are some pictures of the work,

Road Trip
So Bob and I took a little road trip up to Pegasus Auto Racing to take a look at the show room. We came back with 2 of the parts we need for the car, a electrical cut off switch and the sticker to go with it.
